Serve on a platter, along with some cut up fresh fruit, for an elegant dessert.
6 apples (I prefer to use firm eating apples, even Granny Smith)
broken walnut pieces
raisins
raspberry syrup concentrate
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Peel the top half of the apple only, and core halfway down the center. Place into a lined 9×13-inch pan. Sprinkle the hole with cinnamon and stuff with both walnut pieces and raisins. Drizzle generously with the raspberry syrup.
Bake covered for 10 minutes and then uncover for about another 20 minutes.
