This recipe is a twist on a classic baked apple, with a crunchy panko coating. So easy and quick to prepare, this may become one of your favorite desserts to make. No mixers required! Serve warm on its own or with a scoop of ice cream.
10 apples, peeled and cored
1/3 cup oil
1/2 cup sugar
2/3 cup ground walnuts or Gefen Ground Almonds
1/3 cup Jeff Nathan Creations Gluten Free Seasoned Panko (optional; if omitting, increase ground walnuts to 1 and 1/3 cups
cinnamon (optional)
Dip apples into oil, then roll in sugar-panko mixture.
Place into baking pan. Bake for 50 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
On a plate, combine sugar with nuts and panko.
