Ingredients

Baked French Toast Casserole

  • 8 cups (2-inch squares) brioche bread

  • 1/4 cup sliced strawberries

  • 1/4 cup blueberries

  • Gefen Maple Syrup, to drizzle

Directions

1.

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt. Add the bread and toss it with the egg mixture. Set aside for 30 minutes or cover and place in the refrigerator overnight.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Transfer the contents of the bowl (most of the liquid will be soaked up) to an 8×10-inch casserole dish and bake for 30–35 minutes.

4.

Top with berries and maple syrup.

Notes:

You can use any kind of bread for this recipe, but brioche will give you the best results.
