Ingredients

Salad

  • 12 ounces (340 grams) broccoli slaw mix

  • 1 Fuji or Honeycrisp apple, cut in matchstick shapes

  • 1/2 cup slivered, honey-glazed almonds

Dressing

  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Prepare the Broccoli Slaw and Dressing

1.

Place all dressing ingredients in a bowl. Whisk or stir until combined and creamy.

2.

Place broccoli slaw into a salad bowl. Add dressing and stir to combine. Let mixture sit for at least 10 minutes, up to an hour or so.

3.

Just before serving, add apples and almonds. Stir to combine.

If broccoli slaw is not available in my area, would you recommend a regular bag of coleslaw, frozen broccoli, or either/or? Thanks.

Yes, you could use coleslaw instead
