This one-bowl buttery crumb cake has bakery-meets-babka energy with minimal effort and maximum comfort. Crispy crumb topping, soft cinnamon-vanilla center, melted chocolate in every bite… and yes, your kitchen will smell unreal.
Simple ingredients. No mixer. Cozy Shavuot perfection.
1/2 cup butter (or vegan margarine for parve)
2 cups Beleaves Flour
2 cups Haddar Brown Sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon Gefen Pure Vanilla Extract
1 egg
1 cup whole milk (or creamy oat milk for parve)
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips (or parve dark chocolate chips)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a loaf pan with avocado oil cooking spray.
Mix together butter, flour, and brown sugar. Once crumbly, set aside 1 cup of the mixture for the topping.
To the remaining mixture, add salt, cinnamon, baking powder, pure vanilla extract, egg, and milk.
Pour into the prepared loaf pan.
Top with reserved crumb mixture and chocolate chips.
Bake for 35–40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Hi, this sounds yummy, but there are no directions for the crumb mixture.
Mix together:
• 1/2 cup butter (or vegan margarine for parve)
• 2 cups flour
• 2 cups brown sugar
Once crumbly, set aside 1 cup of the mixture for topping.
instructions are missing a step. How much do you take off the reserved crumb mixture?
