Diets These crunchy, cheesy chickpeas added to a fresh Caesar salad provide extra crunch, extra protein, and extra goodness! This salad is absolutely delicious and is something everyone will appreciate.
1 bag romaine lettuce
1 purple onion, thinly sliced
1 cup sliced cherry tomatoes
1 can Glicks Chickpeas, drained and dried
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 tablespoon Gefen Lemon Juice
1/4 cup shredded cheese
1 big roll, cut into cubes
1/4 cup oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup Gefen Mayonnaise
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup Gefen Lemon Juice
1/4 cup water
2 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
Mix the oil and spices and pour over the cubed roll.
Place on a lined baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes, or until crispy.
Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
Toss the chickpeas with olive oil and spices, spreading them evenly on the baking sheet, and bake for 25 minutes.
Remove from the oven and top with shredded cheese. Return to oven for five minutes or until melted and golden brown.
Mix all the dressing ingredients in a bowl, and blend with a hand blender until smooth (add a drop more water if needed for the right consistency).
Add the lettuce, sliced onions, and tomatoes to a large bowl.
Add the caesar dressing and mix well.
Top with homemade croutons and crispy chickpeas.
