Yield: 2 dozen
nonstick cooking spray, such as Glicks
1/2 cup Gefen Canola Oil
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 large egg, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 and 1/2 cups Mishpacha All Purpose Flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
1/2 cup chocolate morsels
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Coat two baking sheets with cooking spray.
Combine oil, sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl, mixing well. Stir in egg and vanilla.
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt, tossing with a fork. Stir into egg mixture, blending well. Fold in chocolate morsels.
Form dough into two three- to four-inch logs. Place on the prepared baking sheets.
Bake for 20 to 30 minutes, checking after 20 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
Cool for 10 minutes; cut into sticks while logs are slightly warm.
