Diets This recipe is ready within a few minutes, and whoever tastes it is surprised to hear what the ingredients are. These chocolate balls don’t contain chocolate, and they’re so delicious, nutritious, and fun to make.
Yields 15 chocolate balls
1/4 cup Gefen Maple Syrup (or silan or honey)
1/2 cup Gefen Peanut Butter (or almond butter, tahini, hazelnut butter, or your nut butter of choice)
1/4 cup Gefen Cocoa
pinch salt
1 cup ground coconut (or 1 and 1/4 cups almond flour)
ground coconut, Gefen Cocoa, or sprinkles, for coating
Put maple syrup, peanut butter, cocoa, and salt in a bowl and mix until well blended. Add ground coconut and mix until the mixture is sticky but not wet. If the mixture is too dry or crumbly, add two to three tablespoons nut butter. If it’s too sticky, add two to three tablespoons ground coconut.
Shape the mixture into balls and coat the balls in the coating of your choice.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.
