Toast pine nuts in an oven set to 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 10 minutes or until just browned.
Clean and take off ends of snow peas.
Sauté garlic in olive oil in a large skillet on medium-high heat. Add snow peas and toss to coat with oil. Add basil.
Sauté for five minutes more, then add pine nuts and sprinkle with kosher salt. Remove from heat and serve immediately.

Sugar snap peas are also a delicious substitute for snow peas. I often interchange them. I sometimes add button mushrooms along with the snow peas.
