Diets With rustic flavors and notes of Italy, this spinach quiche is an easy choice.
1/4 recipe pretzel dough
oil, for sautéing
1 medium onion, diced
1 cube Gefen Frozen Crushed Garlic
5 ounces (140 grams) fresh spinach leaves
1 medium sweet potato, finely shredded
8 ounces (225 grams) cherry tomatoes, sliced
1 cup shredded cheese
2 eggs
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 and 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
pepper, to taste
Press dough into a greased 10-inch (25-cm) baking pan, pushing any extra dough up the sides of the pan. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
In a large frying pan, sauté onion in oil until golden. Add garlic and sauté additional two to three minutes. Remove from heat.
Stir in vegetables and mix until well combined. Add remaining ingredients, and mix until vegetables are well coated and all ingredients are evenly distributed.
Spoon filling into dough in pan. Bake for 30 minutes covered.
Uncover and bake an additional 20 minutes or until golden.
