Crunchy, spicy, and sweet, this Dorito-crusted tilapia is a game changer! Perfect for a quick and delicious kid-friendly dinner.
4 6-ounce (170-gram) tilapia fillets
salt, for seasoning
pepper, for seasoning
chili powder, for seasoning
2 and 1/4 cups crushed Doritos
1 and 1/2 cups Gefen Mayonnaise
1/3 cup Telma Sweet Chili Sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon Gefen Honey
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon Glicks Hot Sauce (optional)
Whisk all ingredients in a bowl. Reserve some sauce for dipping.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
Season both sides of the tilapia fillets with salt, pepper, and chili powder. Spread a layer of the sweet chili sauce mixture onto each side of the seasoned tilapia fillets.
Dredge the tilapia fillets in crushed Doritos, pressing gently to adhere, making sure that both sides are evenly coated. Place coated tilapia on the prepared baking sheet. Spray the tops of the fish with additional cooking spray. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until cooked through.
Serve with reserved sweet chili sauce on the side for dipping.
