What’s better than beer-battered fries? Double beer-battered! If the recipe name alone doesn’t have you salivating, just one bite of these will do the trick. Super crispy with an incredible taste they are addictive!
2 cups Glicks Flour
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons Haddar Kosher Salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup beer, any
16 ounces Beleaves Frozen French Fries or your desired shape
oil, for frying
In a bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and beer, mixing to form a pancake-like batter. Divide batter into two bowls.
Toss fries in the first bowl until completely coated.
In a deep fryer or a deep skillet/pot, heat oil. Fry in small batches (to avoid sticking) for five minutes and remove with tongs or a slotted spoon to a plate lined with paper towels. Repeat until all fries are done.
Toss fries in the second bowl of batter until completely coated (this can be done right after the first fry).
Fry a second time, again working in small batches, for two to three minutes.
Remove from oil and drain on a plate lined with paper towels.
