Indulge in a delightful treat with these balls of ground dried raisins, prunes, dates, and nuts, coated in a generous layer of shredded coconut. These bite-sized delights are not only delicious but also packed with natural goodness, making them a wholesome snack option for any time of the day.
20 dates
2 ounces (50 grams) raisins
10 prunes
2 ounces (50 grams) nuts, grated
juice of 1 lemon
lemon peel, grated
Gefen Cinnamon, to taste
Pereg Ginger, to taste
2 ounces (50 grams) coconut or 2 ounces (50 grams) additional nuts, grated
Pit dried fruits and inspect them for insects.
Scald by pouring boiling water over them.
Grind.
Add other ingredients, except coconut or additional nuts. Mix and knead mixture.
Shape into balls.
Roll in remaining nuts or coconut.
