Diets Yields 8 pretzels
2 and 1/2 cups Glicks Flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
2 and 1/4 teaspoons Shibolim Yeast
1 cup warm water
1/4 cup baking soda, for boiling
Haddar Kosher Salt, for sprinkling
Mix all ingredients and let rest for 30 minutes.
Divide the dough into eight balls and let them rest for another five minutes.
Shape into pretzels.
Preheat oven to 475 degrees Fahrenheit (240 degrees Celsius).
Bring six cups of water with the baking soda to a boil, then reduce to simmer. Dip each pretzel into the water for 30 seconds on each side. Sprinkle with kosher salt and bake for eight to 10 minutes.
