What do you get when you combine marshmallow fluff, chocolate and peanut butter? Enough to keep everyone around the table more than happy. And when covered with wafer rolls glued on with more fluff, no one will refuse a slice.
4 tablespoons margarine
13 oz marshmallow fluff
7 cups Rice Krispies cereal
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
10 oz chocolate chips
3 tablespoons peanut butter
70 wafer rolls
additional marshmallow fluff
In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the margarine. Add marshmallow fluff and stir until combined. Remove from heat and add in Rice Krispies. Mix well and set aside.
In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt together light corn syrup, sugar and peanut butter. Stir until all sugar has dissolved and mixture is smooth. Add in Rice Krispies and mix well.
Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter together and stir until smooth.
Press half of the Rice Krispie treats into a greased 9 inch springform pan. Add half of the peanut chews on top. Press on remaining Rice Krispie treats, followed by the rest of the peanut chews. Top with peanut butter chocolate mixture. Allow the chocolate to harden completely (about 1 hour). Remove the cake from the pan and attach wafer rolls using marshmallow fluff. Secure with a decorative ribbon.
