Make Babka
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Roll store bought or homemade pizza or challah dough into a large rectangle, even in thickness throughout.
Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and pecans, and sprinkle evenly over dough.
Roll dough in a tight log and pinch seams to seal.
Slice log down the center and twist the 2 halves with the cut side facing up.
Transfer carefully to a Gefen Parchment lined baking sheet and bake for about 30-40 minutes until golden brown.

I want to make this choclate .. how can I do that?
we haven't tested a chocolate version of this recipe, so i'm not sure. you can for sure try it out and let us know how it goes! if you specifically want a chocolate babka recipe, i'd suggest taking a look at this one: https://www.kosher.com/video/gooey-chocolate-babka-432/
Awesome! Delicious! I ate half of the cake, couldn't resist. After the first tasting I started baking another two.
Truly yum.
Thanks so much for such a great recipe
Insanely good!!
1 ball of pizza dough Shalom. I live on my own but enjoy making good food for my friends. We don't have balls of dough where I live, or many other American standard weights and measures (e.g. 2 cans of xyz, or 1 package of abc) Please could you weigh one for your international readers and include the ounces or grammes in your recipes? I really want to bake this in memory of my late Bobba. I would brush the pastry with butter to make it richer. Many thanks. Aryeh.
PS. Please could you list the names of your Chefs in alphabetical order for ease of searching. Thank you.

Esty’s Easy Babka This recipe looks REALLY YUMMY! Can the pecans be skipped (whether for those who may be allergic to nuts or who just don’t like nuts)?
Yep!
