Deli roll is a Shabbos staple, and for good reason! It’s simple to make, feeds a crowd, and tastes amazing! I love using the Gefen sweet and sour sauce as both a base layer inside the roll, and for a golden finish on the outside.
1 Gefen Puff Pastry Sheet, thawed
1/4 cup Gefen Mustard
1/4 cup Gefen Sweet ‘n Sour Duck Sauce, plus more for topping
1/4 pound pastrami
1/4 pound sliced turkey breast
1/4 pound salami
everything bagel seasoning, for garnish
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Unfold the puff pastry sheet and gently roll it out.
Mix the mustard and duck sauce and spread it all over the puff pastry sheet.
Place the cold cuts over the pastry in layers, alternating between the turkey, salami and pastrami. Roll the dough up like a jelly roll and place seam-side-down on a Gefen Parchment-lined baking sheet.
Brush the roll with more duck sauce. Sprinkle generously with everything bagel seasoning.
Gently cut shallow slits on top of the roll to allow steam to escape.
Bake for 45 minutes, until golden and puffed.
