2 pounds pickled brisket
2 packages Tuscanini Gnocchi, cooked
2 onions, sliced
oil, for sautéing
4 garlic, minced or 4 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
1 teaspoon salt
1 and 1/2 tablespoons sugar
10 ounces mushroom, sliced
24 ounces broccoli florets, such as Beleaves
1/2 cup sweet barbecue sauce
Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
Leave brisket in the sealed bag. Place in a deep 9 x 13-inch baking pan and cover completely with water. Cover tightly and bake two hours.
Remove from oven and shred using two forks.
In a large saucepan, sauté onions in oil until translucent.
Stir in garlic, salt, and sugar.
Add mushrooms, broccoli, and barbecue sauce. Let simmer two to three minutes.
Combine gnocchi with sauce.
Serve meat over gnocchi.
