One of my favorite foods is almond butter. I eat it on bananas, with apple slices, and in my smoothies, so I decided to use it as a base for some cookies. These cookies are made with just seven ingredients and come together in one bowl in under 10 minutes. They are so easy to make and even easier to eat! There is almond butter and almond milk in them with some crushed almonds on top. I added a few chocolate chips to balance out all the almonds! Grab an apron, a big mixing bowl and let’s get baking.
Yields 12 cookies
1 cup Haddar Almond Butter
2 tablespoons Gefen Almond Milk
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
pinch sea salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup crushed almonds
1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Add all ingredients (except chocolate chips and crushed almonds) to a bowl and stir to combine.
Fold in chocolate chips. Form balls of dough and place on baking sheet (at least two inches apart; cookies will spread).
Sprinkle crushed almonds and sea salt (if desired) on top. Bake 10-12 minutes. Enjoy!
