Diets This is a great breakfast cereal with milk or a delicious, nutritious snack to munch on.
4 cups oatmeal
1 cup shredded coconut or Gefen Coconut Chips (optional)
1 and 1/2 cups bran
1/2 cup wheat germ
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup Gefen Olive Oil or canola oil
1 cup water
1/3 cup sesame seeds
1/2 – 3/4 cup raisins, chopped nuts, dried fruit, etc.
Combine all ingredients on a large cookie sheet and mix well.
Spread out and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, mixing every ten minutes.
Allow to cool before storing.
