1 large butternut squash, peeled and halved lengthwise
1 to 2 tablespoons Gefen Olive Oil
1 to 2 tablespoons Gefen Pure Maple Syrup
garlic salt
pepper, to taste
pinch of thyme
pomegranate seeds
mint or parsley
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a metal baking sheet with Gefen Parchment Paper.
“Hasselback” the squash by slicing most of the way through it down the whole length of the squash.
Rub the olive oil, maple syrup, garlic salt, pepper, and thyme on top.
Bake for around 45 minutes or until done. Top with the desired toppings.
