This simple chicken dish is too good to resist. I added apples for a fun spin on apples and honey! Feel free to add vegetables of your choice, such as carrots or even diced potatoes.
1 onion, thinly sliced
2 baking apples (such as Cortland), cut into eighths
1 whole chicken, cut into eighths
2 tablespoons Tuscanini Olive Oil
4 cloves garlic, minced, or 4 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons Gefen Honey
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Combine onions and apples in a baking dish and place chicken on top. In a separate bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, salt, and paprika. Rub mixture onto chicken, then drizzle with honey.
Cover and cook for 30 minutes, then uncover and cook for another 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
Broil for two to three minutes for an extra crisp.
