The taste of this chicken is chock-full of apple-y goodness, and I believe that this delectable dish will find its way onto my table year-round!
2 pounds (910 grams) chicken cutlets, thinly sliced
3 tablespoons oil, such as Manischewitz Grapeseed Oil
2 teaspoons Glicks Soy Sauce (use a wheat-free version for gluten-free)
1 and 1/2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon mustard
generous sprinkle cinnamon
salt, to taste
2 large Pink Lady apples, chopped
1/2 cup Gefen Honey
2/3 cup apple spread or 1 cup Gefen Original Apple Sauce
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons oil, such as Manischewitz Grapeseed Oil
Place all ingredients in a large ziplock bag, including the chicken. Seal and massage seasoning into chicken to coat. Marinate for 30 minutes.
Heat a large grill pan and spray with cooking spray. Grill chicken cutlets on both sides until cooked through and transfer to a baking pan.
Place all sauce ingredients into a heavy-bottomed pot and heat until it begins to boil. Lower heat and cover pot, allowing apples to simmer until softened, about 15 minutes. Remove from heat and spoon over chicken, mixing to coat. Serve warm.

I would grill the chicken first, then add all the other ingredients to an oven-safe dish and bake it at 350°F until it’s soft and ready and spoon on top of the chicken.
Can this be frozen?
Yes.
