1 (3-pound) chicken, whole
2 tablespoons Gefen Honey
1 tablespoon Glicks Soy Sauce (or gluten free soy sauce)
1 tablespoon Gefen Lemon Juice
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Combine honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Set aside.
Rinse chicken and pat dry. Sprinkle body cavity with salt and pepper. (Fill with stuffing, if desired.)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Place chicken in a roasting pan. Sprinkle with garlic powder and thyme. Bake covered for one and a half hours. Uncover and brush with half of the honey glaze. Continue baking uncovered until chicken is done. Brush remaining glaze over chicken before serving.
