Marinated Green Beans

Ingredients

Green Beans

  • 1 pound fresh green beans

  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced

Marinade

  • 1/2 cup salad oil

  • 1/2 cup vinegar (use gluten-free if needed)

  • 1 tablespoon snipped fresh dill

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon mustard

  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Prepare the Green Beans

1.

Cook whole beans, covered in small amount of boiling salted water for 20–30 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain well.

2.

Combine beans and onion.

Prepare the Marinade

1.

Mix ingredients for marinade. Pour marinade over vegetables.

2.

Cover and chill several hours or overnight.
