Mayo Brownies

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • pinch of salt

  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Directions

1.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line an eight-inch square baking dish.

2.

In a bowl, whisk the mayo, maple syrup, cocoa, and egg until well combined.

3.

Mix in the flour, baking powder, and salt until fully combined.

4.

Fold in the chocolate chips.

5.

Pour batter into the pan and smooth the top.

6.

Top with chocolate squares if using.

7.

Bake for 16 to 18 minutes (center should be just set).

8.

Let cool before slicing, and enjoy!
