3 pounds pepper steak, sliced thin
1 teaspoon olive oil
12 mini white potatoes, sliced into “coins”
oil, for frying
salt
pepper
1/2 cup olive oil
4 frozen cilantro cubes
2 frozen parsley cubes
2 frozen garlic cubes
1/2 cup mayonnaise
lettuce
2 teaspoons olive oil
juice of 1/2 lemon
Using a baster, brush meat with olive oil slide mixture.
Add oil to medium frying pan, add meat And allow to brown slightly (about two minutes) flip meat over and allow to cook through (about one more minute) Transfer meat to a serving platter.
Fill small pot 1/3 way up with oil. Heat oil on medium/high heat.
When hot, add coins. Fry coins until brown and crispy on outside (about five minutes), transfer to plate and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Combine olive oil and herb and garlic cubes. Set aside 1/4 cup for steak.
Add remaining oil rub to mayonnaise. Serve on side of meat.
Toss lettuce (I used baby kale) with two teaspoons olive oil and juice from 1/2 of one lemon.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Serve as side.
