This delicious recipe is perfect for a Chanukah party. A fun twist on classic donuts, this tiny version is sweet with a burst of coffee flavor and is finished off with a simple but yummy white glaze. Submitted by Yosef Sentell
5 tablespoons softened unsalted butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons baking powder
pinch salt
1 cup flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup instant coffee dissolved in hot water
2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup milk
Grease your mini donut maker with cooking spray.
Cream together the butter and sugar.
Add the egg, milk, and vanilla.
Mix in the baking powder and salt.
Mix in the flour, cocoa, and coffee.
Working in batches, spoon tablespoons of batter into the molds of the donut maker. Cook each one for one and a half minutes, then spoon the donuts onto paper towels.
Make the glaze by combining all the ingredients. Drizzle the glaze over the donuts. Let the glaze dry before enjoying.
