Mojito Slushie

Ingredients

Mojito Slushie

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 cup water

  • 8 cups ice

  • 1/2 cup rum

  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice (from about 4 limes)

  • zest of 2 limes

  • 6 to 8 mint leaves, plus additional for garnish

  • additional lime wedges, for garnish

Directions

1.

Bring water and sugar to a boil in a small saucepan and mix until sugar is dissolved. Set aside to cool.

2.

Add ice to a blender, followed by remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth. Pour into individual cups and garnish with a sprig of mint and lime wedges.
