6 ounces margarine
1 cup sugar or brown sugar
1/2 cup Gefen Light Corn Syrup
1 teaspoon Gefen Vanilla Sugar
4 cups instant oatmeal (use gluten-free, if needed)
1 cup chocolate bits, such as Glicks Chocolate Chips
2/3 cup Gefen Peanut Butter
Combine margarine, corn syrup, sugars, and instant oatmeal and mix well.
Spread into an eight- by 10-inch baking pan.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 15-18 minutes. Will harden as its sets. Cool thoroughly.
Melt chocolate bits with peanut butter and mix.
Pour over base and tilt to spread. Cut into one-inch squares.

Delicious! I tried once with oil but the cake just crumbled. I also used less sugar second time round.
