Who doesn’t love a quick and delicious dinner? And having no dishes to wash is just a bonus. So for those days when you are not in the mood to cook but want something comforting to serve the fam, I got you covered.
2 cups frozen peas
2 cups Beleaves Jasmine Rice, rinsed
1 pound dark chicken cutlets, cut into small pieces
1 tablespoon Lipton Chicken Consommé
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon Pereg Turmeric
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup neutral oil
4 and 1/2 cups boiling water
fresh herbs for topping (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a 9×13-inch pan, add all the ingredients except the water. Using a spoon, mix well until combined. Add the boiling water and mix again. Cover well. Place in the preheated oven and cook for one hour.
Remove pan from oven and, using a spoon or fork, mix well to fluff up the rice. Enjoy.
