This cough syrup utilizes the incredible healing properties of the onion. Onions are the richest food source of quercetin, an extremely powerful antioxidant. Onions can help treat coughs and bronchial spasms, and when combined with raw honey, they make a soothing cough remedy.
Yield: 1 cup
Dosage: 1 tablespoon, 3 times a day, or as needed. Not for children under 1 year.
In a glass jar, mix onion and honey well. Seal the jar and leave at room temperature for two hours, allowing the onion to release its healing juices into the honey. It is now ready to use.
After 24 hours at room temperature, transfer to the fridge.
