Diets Pick your colors, pick your flavors, and have fun with this cheerful mishloach manos idea. I got my inspiration from actual paint chips. If you are making a lot of them, I would advise having a graphic designer design them for you, as I do not think that Lowe’s and Home Depot have mishloach manos in mind with their paint display! Instead of or in addition to the drink, you can use diced fruit coordinating to the paint chip (for example, honeydew with a green paint chip).
1 cup oil
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoons Gefen Vanilla Extract
4 cups flour
2 teaspoons Haddar Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 and 1/2 cups Glicks Chocolate Chips
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Combine all ingredients for dough.
Divide dough into two parts. Roll each part into a log, 5 and 1/2 x 10 inches (14 x 25 centimeters), and place on a baking sheet lined with Gefen Parchment. Bake 40 minutes.
Cut into 1/2-inch (1-centimeter) strips. Place the strips, cut-side down, on your baking sheet and bake another 10 minutes.
Yields 24–30 biscotti
