1 small onion
oil, for sauteing
1 pack pastrami
1 tablespoon duck sauce
store bought dough or any pizza dough
dreidel cookie cutters
Dice the onion then sauté with oil in a small frying pan. When the onions start to brown, cut up your pastrami in thin slices and dump it in. Mix for a few minutes, then add in the duck sauce and keep on mixing!
Once you see your pastrami mixture is looking ready, turn off the flame and let cool.
Roll your dough until it’s very thin, then grab your cookie cutters and start shaping!
Make some circles and place them on your parchment paper. Put about a spoonful of the pastrami on every circle, then place a dough dreidel on a circle. Pinch dough together to make sure there are no spots where the pastrami can leak out of.
Bake in a 350-degree Fahrenheit preheated oven for approximately 20 minutes.
Most important rule: enjoy!

This recipe is amazing. I made it for our family chanukah party, it was a HUGE HIt! the only thing I’d suggest to other making this recipe in any shape, you may want to wet your fingers and really pinch where the ends of the dough meet.Thank You Shira!
Thanks for your input Racheli!
