Prepare to go on cookie overload. These bars will be the hit of the day, and they are so easy to put together that you’ ll be making them all the time.
1 tablespoon butter
1 (11 and 1/2 ounce) bag milk chocolate chips
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (14.3-ounce) package chocolate sandwich cookies, roughly chopped
sprinkles (optional)
In a medium saucepan, melt together the butter and chocolate chips.
Once the chocolate is smooth, remove the pan from the heat and stir in the sweetened condensed milk. Add the chopped cookies and stir lightly. You don’t need to coat the cookies all the way; just make sure they are roughly incorporated.
Spread the mixture into an eight- by eight-inch baking dish. (Garnish with sprinkles here if desired.) Use the back of a metal spoon to help press it into place.
Allow to set for one hour before cutting.
