Rorie’s daughter Adina is a fan of savory breakfasts, so she created these three ways to eat turkey deli. Watch Rorie prep the different methods and how to serve them on Living Full ‘n Free!

Ingredients

Turkey (choose one)

  • 1 package sliced turkey

  • 1 package sliced turkey pastrami, diced into small squares

  • 1 package sliced smoked turkey

For Cooking

  • olive oil spray

Guacamole

Israeli Salad

  • 1 shallot, finely diced

  • 1 Persian cucumber, finely diced

  • 2 medium tomatoes, finely diced

  • salt, to taste

  • pepper, to taste

Directions

Method 1 - Turkey “Tacos”

1.

Spray pan with olive oil.

2.

Sauté slices of turkey in a pan until crisp. Spray the tops of slices with more olive oil.

3.

Combine guacamole ingredients.

4.

Separately, combine Israeli salad ingredients.

5.

Top turkey slices with guacamole and Israeli salad.

Method 2 - Turkey Croutons

1.

Spray pan with olive oil. Add diced turkey pastrami.

2.

Stir frequently using a fish spatula to crisp all of the sides. Remove from pan when they are lightly browned.

3.

Croutons will continue to crisp as they cool.

4.

Serve on top of the salad of your choice.

Method 3 - Turkey Scoops

1.

Spray pan with olive oil.

2.

Add slices of smoked turkey to the pan. Spray tops of slices as well.

3.

Let cook until the edges brown and start to curve.

4.

Remove from pan and serve with guacamole or the dip of your choice.

Tips:

The smoked exterior makes this type of turkey curve more when cooked, making the perfect “taco shell.”

Hi rorie. I love this breakfast idea with the turkey! I usually buy oven roasted turkey without nitrates or nitrites and no sugar. But I have yet to find one with smoked turkey ( no sugar, nitrates or nitrites). If u can let me know where they have it that would be fantastic!
