Ingredients

Shawarma Spice Rub

  • 3 tablespoons cinnamon

  • 3 tablespoons coriander

  • 3 tablespoons oregano or parsley

  • 3 tablespoons black pepper

  • 3 tablespoons sweet paprika

Directions

Prepare the Shawarma Spice Rub

Mix all ingredients together well.

Notes:

To make shawarma chicken, mix chicken of your choice with one heaping tablespoon shawarma spice mix and two and 1/2 tablespoons olive oil and mix well. Spread on a baking sheet and roast at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes.

This was delicious! I added brown sugar to balance out the savoury sauce with some sweetness.
