Diets An alternative to the been-there-done-that baked ziti supper.
12 ounces Tuscanini Spaghetti
3 cups mozzarella cheese
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon garlic powder or 2 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
16–20 ounces Gefen Marinara Sauce
1/2 cup Muenster cheese
1/2 cup red pepper, diced
4 ounces mushrooms, chopped
oregano (optional)
Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
Combine mozzarella cheese, egg, milk and garlic powder with cooked spaghetti. Bake in a nine- by -13-inch pan for 15 minutes.
Add marinara sauce, Muenster cheese, red pepper, mushrooms, and oregano, if desired. Bake an additional 30–45 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
