This moist and fluffy banana bread gets an upgrade with warm spices like cinnamon and ginger, making it the perfect cozy day treat!
2 large ripe bananas
2/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
1/2 cup molasses
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
1/4 cup Gefen Unsweetened Almond Milk
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons ground ginger
1 and 1/2 teaspoons Gefen Ground Cinnamon
1 and 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 to 1 and 1/2 tablespoons Gefen Unsweetened Almond Milk
1/2 teaspoon Gefen Cinnamon, or to taste
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a 9×5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray.
Prepare the banana bread: Mash bananas in a large bowl with a fork. Add brown sugar, molasses, oil, eggs, and 1/4 cup milk. Stir until combined. Stir flour, ginger, cinnamon, baking soda, allspice, and salt together in another bowl.
Stir flour mixture into the banana mixture until just incorporated. Pour into the prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 60 to 70 minutes. Let cool completely, at least 30 minutes. Turn bread out of the pan.
Whisk together the icing ingredients and drizzle over the cooled banana bread.
