Sun-Dried Tomato Pasta

Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 1 pound pasta, prepared according to package instructions

  • 3/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, packed in oil, chopped

  • 12 ounces Tuscanini Tomato Paste

  • 1/4 cup oil from the sun-dried tomatoes (if needed, add olive oil to make 1/4 cup)

  • 8 cubes Gefen Frozen Basil (about 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves)

  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic or 2 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar

  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Directions

Prepare the Sun-Dried Tomato Pasta

1.

Combine sun-dried tomatoes, sun-dried tomato oil, tomato paste, basil, garlic, salt, sugar, and pepper in a food processor and puree until smooth.

Combine sauce with pasta and serve.

Tips:

Use the extras to replace sauce on pizza and calzones. It’s also great as a dip for Shabbos.
