I’ve been making the same recipe of sautéed liver every week for Shabbos until I was ready for a change. This is what I came up with. It’s a standard recipe with a little twist that makes it so much more interesting. The secret to this recipe is the more onions the better and the longer you sauté them the better…
5 onions diced
1/4 cup oil
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 frozen garlic cubes
1 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. liver cut into small pieces
Heat oil in a saucepan. Add diced onions and sauté until caramelized about 45 minutes on low flame. Keep the flame on lowest, add the liver and rest of ingredients. Cook for another 5 minutes while mixing and incorporating all the ingredients.

Delicious!!!!!! Although, next time I’m gonna 1/2 the sugar because it was a bit too sweet.
