Turkey and Barley Soup

Very hearty one-pot meal. Serve with chunks of turkey removed from the wings.

Start Cooking

Make the Soup

  1. Boil the turkey in water a few minutes. Skim off the scum.

  2. Add all ingredients in a five- to six-quart pot. After three hours of cooking check if thick. If not, continue cooking until it thickens. (Barley soups are usually thicker a day after cooking.)
