Apple and Honey Piroshki

Nosh & Nibble, brought to you by and PJ Library, is welcoming it's new host: Liora! Liora is Ukranian, Persian, and American, and loves to make her family recipes her own. She's making an apple and honey version of Piroshki—a Ukranian treat that her babushkah makes! It's the perfect treat for Rosh Hashanah!

Get the recipe:

 2 large or 3 medium apples, thinly sliced or cubed
 ground or powdered cinnamon
 Gefen Puff Pastry Squares
 1 egg, whisked/beaten
 powdered sugar or chocolate powder
