Regarding peppers-
As an avid https://www.kosher.com fan, I learnt long ago that everyone is coming from different places and halachic standpoints. Its hard when people post comments about halacha it makes you panic thinking you missed something… only to be clarified by your Rav that you are correct. Lets enjoy the shows and leave the halachic aspects to each individuals discretions.
EVEN MY KIDS ATE THIS!!!
This was a def fav!!! I made it with your oven white rice and it was beyond!!!
Having the kids make their own skewers was a great motivation to eat it!
Please keep your ideas coming!!
We’re so happy 🙂 the best way to get the kids to eat, is getting them involved in the prep!
My daugher is married to Rav Vaiya’s nephew. I know that you have to check inside and wash the outside well, but I do not know of any necessity to wash the inside. Sometimes, you can find large worms inside, but it is usually in peppers that have a hole near the stem (which should be cut off).
Looks so good. Thanks, can’t wait to try the brown rice in the oven, maybe it will be easier than when I cooked it in a pot.
Just one comment regarding the peppers, I noticed you did not wash the insides and I believe you do need to wash them very well under a strong stream of running water due to small bugs which can sometimes be found inside (some even do it with soap)
Thanks again
