Congrats Bassie!!!! You did a great job and you are so funny and good in the kitchen!
Mozelle you also did an amazing job!

  2. Esti says:

i was wondering if the contestants knew what the challenge Was gonna be before hand,so they can have time to think and prepare?also,if the contestants forgot an ingredient would she be able to go back into the pantry or only in those 5 minutes?

  3. Sori Weil says:

IS THERE GOING TO BE A SEASON THREE OF FOOD FIGHT?

  4. Tziporah Ehrich says:

    Totally unfair.

  5. Michal Kushnir says:

wow this was so epic good job Bassie and mozelle !!!!

  6. Naomi Finegold says:

    Go bassie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. chana kooperstein says:

i am so disappointed! it was not mozelles fault that the ovens were not working. it was not a fair round in my opinion. i wish she would have given more time to show her incredible talent.

    • Raquel Malul says:

Thank you for the feedback on the Food Fight Finale.

We want to clarify that Mozelle was not judged based solely on the doneness of her dishes. The judges were aware of the oven issue and took it into consideration. Final decisions were made based on multiple factors, including flavor, technique, creativity, and overall execution. Even with the equipment challenge accounted for, there were additional critiques unrelated to doneness that affected the outcome.

We have immense respect for both Mozelle and Bassie and are incredibly proud of what they brought to Food Fight. Thank you for caring and being a part of the Kosher.com community.

  8. Ahuva D says:

    Is there another season coming?

  9. Esther saka says:

I was extremely dissappointed for Mozelle. I felt that she should have been helped the same way Bassie was helped. Bassie got told it was a parve competition and she awitched her dish to parve. She also got helped setting her table. maybe someone should have mentioned to Mozelle use the stove. Im happy for Bassie but feel the competition was very unfair!!!

  10. L W says:

    Mazel Tov Bassi!
But, I don’t think it was fair to Mozelle that her oven wasn’t working. I know that it ws a competition and mistakes happen, but the ovens should work, and when it wasn’t working that wasn’t her fault!

  11. SHVESTER says:

Thank you kosher.com for this amazing season!!!! Congratulations Bassy!!!!!

  12. sara friedman says:

Thank u Kosher.com for such a great series !!!!!!! Would love to see a food fight with teenagers cooking it would be very entertaining and fun to watch !!!!!!!! Great job bassi and Mozelle please post blooper videos and behind the scenes videos !!! Love this show

  13. Rivky says:

Can we please have the recipes
    Even in approximate measurements

  14. YBA NA says:

I think it would have been so nice if Mozelle had been told once it was discovered that her oven wasn’t working, that Bassi would present first, and she could continue working until Bassi finished presenting. That’s not much more time, and may not have changed the outcome; Bassi also did a great job. But just some acknowledgment and effort to even out the playing field due to the broken oven, could have left everyone feeling better.

  15. Malky says:

So so so disappointing….. what a letdown!!!!!!!!! I cant believe as professionals that they let this show finish like this….

  16. R S says:

I understand why many people are upset for Mozelle, but don’t be…
Mozelle may have seemed to walk out empty handed but that’s incorrect, she did walk out with something, and that something is a LOT bigger than any materialistic prize.
She showed hundreds, if not thousands of women how to behave like a true bas melech.

way she behaved after realising her oven wasn’t working should be a mussar lesson for us all.

There was no complaint, there was no blaming, she carried herself with real dignity.
When presenting to the judges, she mentioned it but not with anger or attitude and we all watched this dignified behaviour.

may not have won the completion but she certainly won something much greater.

hope her family are very proud of her, I certainly am (& I’m a complete stranger from Israel!)

I’m honoured to be a Jewish woman when I witness such aristocracy.

Well done Bassie and well done Mozelle!

    • Henny S. says:

I’m not upset for Mozelle (sorry Mozelle 🤭) because I don’t think you have to win to be the happy one. It’s very special to be part of this show and especially to make it to the final round. The fact that you don’t win in the last round doesn’t mean you’re not good, but rather that someone else was just a little bit better than you or had a touch more luck.

What really disappoints me is that the last round wasn’t fair. And that’s simply not acceptable. Bassie might have won even if everything had been completely fair, it’s not about winning. It’s about correct procedures that must always be applied. Such a shame, a missed opportunity in such a beautiful and unique show.

However, I completely agree that the message Mozelle communicates through her behavior is priceless, a gift to all of us that will last forever. I don’t think she even realizes what she has set in motion and how far her message has reached all the way to you in Israel and to me in Europe.

    • chana kooperstein says:

wow!!! well said and so agree! she Definity showed true middos!

  17. Henny S. says:

Phenomenal show, but that last round? Totally unfair to Mozelle, no matter how you look at it.

We love you both, but wow… I can’t understand how you dared to publish it. That round was truly unjust to Mozelle.

Disappointing way to close an amazing show.

  18. Daniel Goldstein says:

I really liked it. the winner though was not so fair because mezel’s oven was not working other than that I really enjoyed the suspense and watching them cook there dishes

  19. Devorah Leah says:

Omg I love bassi she’s such a cutie

  20. M Chemtob says:

I love how when she realized her oven wasn’t working the judges were commenting that they believe in her…. like how does that help her????? Her oven wasn’t working due to no fault of her own and all they could do was say she’s doing great , maybe give a little more time!!!!! Mozelle I think you did amazing!!!!!!

    • t d says:

      Totally.
While her words might seem encouraging, it’s not entirely fair to expect the chef to “pivot” when the issue is with the equipment, not her skills. The point of a cooking show is to showcase cooking abilities, and it’s assumed that the equipment will work properly.

  21. simmy says:

As a surprise twist next time, have the contestants make dinner for a panel of child-judges and a nutritionist. The healthiest meal approved by the kids wins!

  22. Victor Shine says:

What a fun ride this has been! I learned a lot by watching the techniques, ideas, and ingredients showcased. This is top level programming. Great work!

  23. Chavi Ginsberg says:

That was not a fair round. Ovens are supposed to be working. If her timing were off then pivotting would come in. But this was not the issue. Plus Bassie was reminded about the parev dishes…

  24. M k says:

so to calm everyone down about the oven I’m sure they took into consideration that the eggplant and sweet potatoes were not baked,That wasn’t the reason she didn’t win…..She did do a fabulous job but obviously they judged that Bassie did a better one….. This was such a fun show!

    • M Chemtob says:

I don’t think they did, because when they commented on her food and they announced the winner they didn’t really mention Anything about her oven not working and bassie got help from the judges they reminded her about the dairy in her dish and shaindy kept on helping with small stuff (like wetting the power towel and helping with the table cloth)

      • Le K says:

Maybe they offered mozzele help, but she said she can’t delegate…and wants to do everything alone.

  25. Lea says:

Don’t see how this competition is fair if her oven isn’t working.

  26. Malky grossman says:

omg im so happy 4 u bassi u rly deserve it and ur food looks epic

  27. Daniel says:

Can we get all the recipes?

  28. Gitty Gancfried says:

Love Moselle food her ovens were working it wasn’t fair and considerate can you also do a food fight for teens in Israel the

  29. Rachel Stam says:

Great idea to bring tablescape with a “story” to the cooking.

AND MOST OF ALL THANK YOU TO KOSHER.COM!!!!

  40. fraida Frailich says:

Congratulations bassy! Well done! I am so happy for you!

  41. Saralea Dershowitz says:

congratulations Bassi! I do agree with the comments below that it was totally unfair to Mozelle that her ovens werent working. That point completely explains her inability to execute the challenge properly. Also the unfairness played out in one of the judges helping bassi by reminding her it has to be parve.. Mozelle should have been given another chance, or at the very least compensated somehow.

    • C B says:

I think what the judges were looking for was pivoting skills even if ovens were down, like doing the eggplant on the stove. Although I do feel bad for Mozelle not winning. She did great!!!

      • M Chemtob says:

There still wouldn’t be enough time ,by the time she realized her oven wasn’t working there was only a few minutes left…
and I don’t think it’s fair for the judges to say that she should pivot , it was a miscalculation on their part

    • fraida Frailich says:

I agree 100% isn’t it the job of the staff or someone else to make sure all ovens, fires etc are working properly? Not a fair challenge

  42. Devorah Leah says:

    Love the Finale!!!!!!!

  52. c f says:

really feeling bad for mozel it wasnt herr fault that the oven didnt work

  53. Itty-Eckstein says:

That was enjoyable to watch and they both did a great job! But I’m just blown away at the unfairness. Mozell was not supplied properly- she wasn’t given a working oven! How was she supposed to even compete? Of course her food wasn’t done. To me, they should have paused the clock for her and given her time to make up for all the cooking time she lost. This doesn’t feel fair at all. I’m very impressed at how she kept her composure because I would have been a lot more upset in her shoes.

    • tzivia solomon says:

      I absolutely agree with you!!

    • ZEHAVA says:

Agreed!! 💯 I think they should give her a cash prize🏆

    • miriam schwartz says:

I disagree. There was another working oven in the kitchen. If you preheat the oven before putting your food in you can see if the oven is working. I also would think if you check on the food often enough you would notice the oven is broken, giving you enough time to use the other oven or stovetop. It’s a live cooking competition you need to be prepared for any twist or turn. Mozelle did amazing in her situation and seemed to understand this is part of the competition, you pivot.

      • t d says:

you can say that about smaller issues and unexpected hiccups; this is a big one, and I was expecting the host to own up or otherwise accommodate.

  54. F W says:

    Yay Bassi, congratulations
    Mozelle you were amazing
both of you did such a good job!!

  55. Devorah Leah says:

  59. None at all says:

Great job Bassie! Love how Mozelle manned up to her loss. Great job Mozelle!
Hey Kosher.com, send my regards to Mozelle!
    Thanx

  60. Devora Kahn says:

Bassieeeee!!!! You so deserved this win! Every dish you made from the start of this competition was so impressive – cool, original and well-executed. Your ridiculous drama and good humor through every round was the best entertainment of all. Highlight of every show! Great job to everyone, Suri, Mozelle, Mushka, Shaindy and the judges too but Bassie that trophy is totally yours!

  61. dina k says:

yayyyy bassi i hope they come out w more like these cuz i rlly enjoyed

  62. Bracha says:

This was amazing! So happy for Bassi and I did love her food choices, but also really really feeling for Mozelle :(. It really wasn’t her fault that her oven didn’t work.
Just want to say that my favorite judge was Shifra, she was so uplifting and generous to the contestants and had such good feedback. I also liked how Shushy generally couched her comments in such a positive way.
Looking forward to more Food Fight contests!

  63. E S says:

That was AMAZING, THRILLING, and loved the twist with the tablescape!!! I’m thinking/HOPING that Kosher.com was filming some other amazing show with Chayitty Pollack at the same time – so she appears only a tiny bit because she “happened” to be there:) Thank you for this incredible content!!!!!!!!!
