Rena’s kids love shawarma, so she went on a mission to re-create the best homemade version. With this amazing kitchen gadget, you’ll have shawarma on the table in no time. Serve with French fries and Israeli salad and dinner is all set!

6 turkey legs, or 4 chicken bottoms
1 large onion, halved and thinly sliced
2 tablespoons Pereg Shawarma Spice
Oven Fries
15 Yukon gold potatoes, washed well
2 tablespoons oil
salt, to taste

Rena, do you have a recommendation for the oil sprayer that you used?
Hi! I use a continuous water mister bottle that I put mostly olive oil into and then a little water for it to mist nicely. Recently though I’ve been using this one and I just add oil in and it sprays really nicely and evenly. And it can be used to pour or drizzle oil as well.

Thank you for responding so quickly! I didn't think you were still looking at these old posts. That's a super helpful tip. I have an oil spraying bottle but it comes out in splurts so I stopped using it for oil. But I added water to it tonight and I think this might actually work. And thank you for the link...that one is much more affordable than many that are out there! I really appreciate it!
