Before Passover rolls around, it’s always a good idea to take stock of the pasta in your pantry and get creative with how to use it up. With a little imagination, you can transform those leftover noodles into mouthwatering dishes. Whether you're in the mood for something comforting, tangy, or creamy, here are a few recipes to help you use up that pasta that's lying around.
1. Chicken Soup with Lasagna

I used this recipe as a base and made a few tweaks. Instead of making matzo balls, leftover lasagna came in handy. I also skipped the turnip, celery, and herbs, and used chicken breast instead of bones because it’s less messy and I love shredded chicken.

2. Lemon Pepper Pasta

In this recipe, I swapped regular pasta for brown rice pasta, but either works.

3. Pink Pasta

This recipe inspired me to have a girls' night (and clean out my pantry). I cooked leftover elbows and made the sauce with the ingredients below.
Watch how I make it below!
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 and 1/2 cups tomato sauce
- A sprinkle of chili flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions:
I simmered the butter, oil, garlic, and tomato sauce over medium heat until the butter melted, then added the milk, cream, spices, and cheese until well combined. I poured the sauce over the pasta, and it was delicious!
