Best of the Bungalows: Cooking with Tuscanini Sauces

We recently sent Tuscanini’s new sauces to our participating bungalow colonies—and we couldn’t wait to see what everyone would create! Some cooks kept things simple, letting the sauces shine, while others got creative with unexpected twists and delicious new dishes.

We loved every submission and photo, and we hope they inspire you to try these sauces in your own kitchen. They’re flavorful, convenient, and exactly the kind of shortcut we all appreciate during the busy summer months.

We all got together in one lady’s kitchen and had a blast taking turns pouring, stirring and sampling. We thought the pastas tasted better than any we’ve had before, but that could’ve been because Faigie cooked them to perfection. Turns out, it matters how you cook things, even lukshen!! Here are some pics of what we did and the beautiful setup.

The feedback is that all the sauces are a great base for cooking!

Twin Bridges Estates

The Tuscanini pasta sauces were sampled in the best way possible—simply tossed with freshly cooked pasta. Being upstate, we like to keep things easy, so we didn't sauté or add any extra ingredients, and every sauce was delicious on its own. The sauces are quite thick, so definitely save some pasta water and stir it back in for a better consistency.

The only sauce that we got a little creative with was the Mac & Cheese Sauce. We warmed it up, poured it over tortilla chips with fresh guacamole, and had delicious cheesy nachos. Highly recommend trying it that way too, as it was a big hit with the kids!

Clearview

We originally had so many plans for these pasta and sauces—pizza, elevated mac and cheese, and so many other possibilities. But in the end, we decided to let the sauces shine on their own, so we hosted a pasta party where the original sauces were the stars of the show!

First, we were all so impressed with the pasta itself. It didn't taste like your typical boxed pasta—it tasted like fresh, homemade pasta. Just be sure to follow the cooking instructions for the best results.

The sauces were incredible! You would never guess they came from a jar. When I showed everyone the jars, they were genuinely shocked. The first question was, "Where can we buy these?"

Of course, a few people took things to the next level with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of parsley—but honestly, the sauces were delicious all on their own.

Thank you, Kosher.com, for sending us these amazing products!

Pine Knoll

Sourdough is all the rage by us at Pine Knoll this summer! We made sourdough pizza and used the Tuscanini Mushroom Alfredo Sauce as the base. Then added fresh mozzarella sautéed mushrooms and Trader Joe’s Green Goddess seasoning on top! Yum!
