This past Sunday, I sat with my daughters going through a few cookbooks and recipes gathering ideas so we can "Populate our Menu," as we call it. I always like to find a few inspired items to add to my menu. But there are criteria. I don’t like frying food, I don’t like folding individual little dumplings or wontons, and I like making things for Shavuos that have color and vibrancy and some kind of interesting twist.
