I’m going to let you in on a little secret of mine…

I typically don’t bake my own dessert for Passover. I mean, I’ll make my family’s favorite lemon tart and chocolate chip cookie recipes, but other than that, I pretty much make nothing.

Want to know why? Because a no-bake, ready in five minutes, makes you look like an entertaining pro, requires minimal ingredients, delicious and fun dessert board is SO MUCH BETTER!

I typically make a dessert board with a chocolate fondue spread for dipping, but that takes melting chocolate over a flame before Yom Tov and hoping that my parve chocolate will come out silky smooth.

This year, I’m making life easier for myself. I know, how can you make a no-bake dessert even easier?! With Gefen’s brand new Hazelnut Praline Spread.

Guys! This stuff is actually delicious. I’m not just saying it. It does need a good amount of stirring to get it thick and creamy, but I’ll take that over baking any day!

I also just had to buy these adorable birthday cake and coconut MINI MACAROONS from Manischewitz! I mean, how cute are they? They instantly take this board up about ten notches. I also used Manischewitz Almond Meltaway Cookies here because they’re probably one of my favorite KFP cookies around. There are so many delicious store-bought products to choose from these days.

So, this year, skip the baking and searching for that perfect cake recipe, and do yourself a favor and make a dessert board. Your family (and future self) will thank you for it.
